- \(f(x)\) é par \(\Leftrightarrow f(x) = f(-x)\)
- \(f(x)\) é ímpar \(\Leftrightarrow f(x) = -f(-x)\)
Propriedades
Sejam \(\mathcal{J}\) e \(\mathcal{I}\) classes de funções tais que \(\forall f \in \mathcal{J}\) é par e \(\forall g \in \mathcal{I}\) é ímpar, temos as seguintes propriedades, expressas como teoremas.
Teorema 4.1 (Elemento oposto) \[ f(x) - f(-x) = 0, \quad g(x) + g(-x)=0 \]
Teorema 4.2 (Somas internas à classe) \[f_i(x) \pm f_j(x) \in \mathcal{J}\] \[g_i(x) \pm g_j(x) \in \mathcal{I}\]
Proof. \[h(x) = f_i(x)+f_j(x)=f_i(-x)+f_j(-x)=h(-x)\] \[h(x) = f_i(x)-f_j(x) = f_i(-x)-f_j(-x)=h(-x)\] \[h(x)=g_i(x)+g_j(x)=-g_i(x)-g_j(-x)=-h(-x)\] \[h(x)=g_i(x)-g_j(x)=g_i(x)+g_j(-x)=-h(-x)\]
Teorema 4.3 (Produto interno à classe) \[f_i(x)f_j(x) \in \mathcal{J}\] \[g_i(x)g_j(x) \in \mathcal{J}\]
Proof. \[f_i(x)f_j(x) = f_i(-x)f_j(-x)=f_i(-x)f_j(-x)\] \[g_i(x)g_j(x)=(-g_i(-x))(-g_j(-x))=g_i(-x)g_j(-x)\]
Teorema 4.4 (Produto interclasse) \(f(x)g(x) \in \mathcal{I}\)
Proof. \[fg(x) = f(x)g(x)=f(-x)(-g(-x))=-fg(-x)\]
Teorema 4.5 (Soma interclasse) Se \(\operatorname{Im} f \neq 0\) e \(\operatorname{Im} g \neq 0\) então seja \(h(x) = f(x) + g(x)\), temos que \(h(x) \notin \mathcal{J}\) e \(h(x) \notin \mathcal{I}\).
Proof. \[h(x) = f(x) + g(x) = f(-x)-g(-x) \therefore h(x) \neq h(-x) \wedge h(x) \neq -h(-x)\]
Proof. Parte 1 Mostremos que \(h_{\text{par}}(x) = \frac{h(x) + h(-x)}{2}\) é par:
\[ h_{\text{par}}(-x) = \frac{h(-x) + h(-(-x))}{2} = \frac{h(-x) + h(x)}{2} = h_{\text{par}}(x) \]
Parte 2 Mostremos que \(h_{\text{ímpar}}(x) = \frac{h(x) - h(-x)}{2}\) é ímpar:
\[ h_{\text{ímpar}}(-x) = \frac{h(-x) - h(-(-x))}{2} = \frac{h(-x) - h(x)}{2} = -\frac{h(x) - h(-x)}{2} = -h_{\text{ímpar}}(x) \] Parte 3 Soma das partes par e ímpar:
\[\begin{align*} h_{\text{par}}(x) + h_{\text{ímpar}}(x) = & \frac{h(x) + h(-x)}{2} + \frac{h(x) - h(-x)}{2} = \frac{2h(x)}{2} = h(x) \therefore \\ \therefore h(x) = & \frac{h(x) + h(-x)}{2} + \frac{h(x) - h(-x)}{2} \end{align*}\]
Teorema 4.7 (Paridade de função potência) Seja \(f(x) = x^n, \ n \in \mathbb{N}\) então:
- \(f(x)\) é par se \(n\) é par
- \(f(x)\) é ímpar se \(n\) é ímpar
